We should group our tracks to busses where we have multiples of the same type of track. These busses can add more processing to the tracks, on top of the processing we’ve already applied to them. The bus adds glue to the tracks and also makes them more quality. Lets look at the best bus effects and talk about their best qualities.

That makes the group sound better straight away. Because we have control over each frequency band we can shape the sound into something really interesting. It works great on the guitar bus because the guitars can use a wide range of frequencies.

Thats great on all sorts of busses because it has a lot of nice presets. It can be a dynamic eq and improve the clarity of the sound.
💎3. Ultrashaper💎| Bus Effects
This is another great compressor in cubase and it has a lot of presets for group channel tracks. Its good to use a variety of compressors for each project and this one has some really nice features. I talked about it in a recent post and have used it a lot since then.
🔥2. Fuel🔥
Thats one of my most used compressors and its amazing for a variety of situations. It has great upward and downward compression. And it can squash our tracks fast. Some tracks might have high spikes in volume but this will tame the track nicely.
🎸1. DrMs🎸
I use this a lot on my guitar bus because it can make the guitars stereo. Now the guitars sound like they’re moving in the stereo field and they sound great. There are some interesting things going on in the plugin and it gives the guitars a 3d type of sound. I like this preset for the guitars and it also got good presets for the mix bus.
