There have been great additions to Cubase since Cubase 5. Cubase 5 was very good, its quite different from Cubase 15 and its simpler. Upgrades have made Cubase sound better, faster and easier to use. Now its very stable and has some great new stock plugins. Lets look at Cubase updates since Cubase 5 and talk about whats good about them.
Control Room/Right Zone

This really helps with the workflow, speeds the work up and makes it easier. We can do many things with control room like load in vsts, search through samples, preview samples and create sampler tracks. It can also display a big volume meter and hold monitoring plugins.
Audio Warp

Audio warp is amazing for any audio recordings that we want to quantise. It can help us get the recordings straight nice and fast. We are confident that our guitars are perfectly in time and ready for the mixdown. I like to audio warp all my guitars and basses on every track.
Vari-audio | Cubase Updates

I like to extract midi notes from bass guitar audio tracks with vari-audio. This is so I can double the sub with a synthesizer on another track to make the bass more legible. Its also great to tune audio tracks like vocals and guitars. Now we can work on audio tracks like they’re midi tracks.
Chord Tracks

Thats amazing because we can drag any track into the chord track and it will detect all of the chords. After that we can put a piano next to it and it will play the chords. This is very good because it will save us time figuring out all the chords to a song.
Theme | Cubase Updates

Its great because now we can change the colour of everything. Cubase 5 has quite a bright interface but now we can make it darker and it can be easier to focus on the task.
