The latest virtual studio technology is VST3. Recently, I upgraded my computer, started everything from new and now I only use VST3 instruments. They’ve only been out for a couple of years but lets discover the best VST3 instruments and talk about the best things about them.
5. 🌌MagicDrum 2 Lite🌌 | VST3 Instruments
It sounds really natural and works well with lots of different material. My favorite preset is the chromatic mode because all of the notes are playable. I like to use some of the built in effects sometimes for some extra harmonics/volume. The higher pitch notes are a lot more audible than the lower notes on this one.
4. 🎹The Grand🎹 | VST3 Instruments
Its a great instrument because it has an amazing choice of pianos and options. The pianos sound nice straight away and I mostly just use them on the default settings. There are 5 pianos to choose from and they have close/player options.
3. 🎧Korg MS-20🎧
I’ve used this a lot as my main sub bass for my projects lately because it always gives me the sub sounds that I’m looking for. I experimented with it lately and found that it has some great presets based on many types of instrument.
2. âš¡Polysixâš¡
This has some of the best synthesizer sounds I’ve heard and 2 programs that I use all of the time. I want to check out more programs in this plugin and because I believe that there are more amazing ones. It sounds good with compression and external effects too.

There are a lot of great presets in this synthesizer, a lot of them sound really amazing and its a very versatile instrument. I’ve used it for a long time, on many tracks and it absolutely deserves the respect as the best VST3 instrument.
