We like to group our 3 guitar channel tracks to a guitar bus. So we can process them together with the same compressors, equalisers and modulation effects. Its also easier to mix the full project with all tracks grouped because we can solo or mute busses one by one so we can isolate what we want to. Lets discover the best guitar bus effects and talk about whats good about them.
Telos Guitars

Thats an amazing effects made specifically for guitars. The presets sound great and they add a lot of great harmonics to the sound.
Multiband Compressor | Guitar Bus

Thats great because it can shape the sound of our guitars. It can make the guitars stand out more and add character to them. We can experiment with this and tweak this for every project. And we can create a great collection of user presets.
Frequency

Thats an amazing dynamic equaliser and it has sidechain capabilities. It might take a while to learn it but its very nice to use once we understand it. We can use a bass guitar sidechain to drop a low frequency band and boost high frequency bands in a dynamic way. It has mid/side compatability so we can also choose whether to drop or boost the side signal. The reverb effects.
We made our guitar tracks stereo because we added a reverb to it. And that reverb added stereo reverb information.
DrMS

Well we’ve not used this for a while because we started making our guitars stereo with reverbs. Thats great when all of our guitars are mono, it can create a great stereo soundscape for them.
Imager | Guitar Bus

We can use this in conjunction with supervision to keep our stereo image in check. We can identify phase issues with supervision multi-correlation meter and fix them with imager by making the stereo field narrower.
