I work on tracks most of the day and at about 3pm I usually go for a walk somewhere. Its good to visit different places everyday – so here are the best places to walk to that are close to home.
5. Shops

I usually write a shopping list before going there to save some time and make sure I get what I need. The shop is usually my 2nd stop on a walk because I’d probably go somewhere else on the list first to get more exercise. Its also the last stop so I can get my shopping back frozen.
4. City Island

Everything looks new here, its spacious and bright. Theres a good bridge over here and theres a great town square. There are also nice places to walk to nearby with lakes, nature and wildlife. This is in East London and its next to Canning Town Station.
3. The Bridge

There are a lot of steps to the top and the view is incredible. You can take great photos and see great places in London. Its near the airport so you can watch planes go by and the river is good too. There are ducks swimming and flying by.
2. Barrier Thames Park

Thats an amazing park, near the great River Thames and across from South East London. It is good to there exercise because theres lots of space. I like to jump rope there and take photos of nature.
1. Across from City Airport

Its a long walkaway along the river, opposite the airport and it can take about 45-60 minutes to walk one way. Sometimes I walk a return journey because its great exercise. There are many great things to see and its a good walk – so thats why its the best.
