It is good to master the tracks so that they are loud and finished. This is the final step and we have finished mixing the track. Lets look at the best mastering plugins and talk about the great things that they can do to make our track sound amazing.
Supervision
We can run our mix through supervision to check that our peaks aren’t too loud for the next limiters and compressors. We can add it to control room as an insert effect and check that the PSR level is good. The PSR level should be at around 12-13. We can get a nice loud master if we control these peaks right.

This can add a lot of warmth and colour to the mix. There are lots of settings to learn and it has great presets to show us what the machine is capable of. Its an equaliser but its also a really good saturator and it sounds great on many single instrument tracks too.

The sound is a lot different with this and it can really help clean the mix before it hits the compressors. I like this equaliser and have used it on many mixes. Its also great for guitars and other tracks. It is also great to help tame the peaks of our mix before hitting the compressors.
Brickwall Limiter | Mastering Plugins
This will limit our mix in a standard way so that its at the right level. It can help us tame the peaks of the drums and loud elements of the mix.
Ozone | Mastering Plugins
Ozone is another great plugin, it has many great modules and got many great new features in a recent upgrade. This has all that we need to finish our track and make it loud. It has full scale loudness mode and streaming mode for online services.
