These days we always put the main instruments on the tracks. The guitars, bass and drums. We also add extra instruments too, they are usually a combination of random good vsts. Now we have a lot of vsts and we look through the list to find extra instruments that would work well on the project. Lets discover the top 5 extra instruments and talk about why they’re good.
5. 🎼EW Harp | Extra Instruments🎼

Thats a great choice because it sounds great on just about any project. I like to add the ping pong effect to this and it works well with reverbs too. I’ve used this as an extra instrument on a lot of projects. Its good along with the lead guitar, its even good to use vari audio to copy the guitar notes to it.
4. 🌍Galileo🌍

Although it needs to be 64 bit bridged to work on the new cubase its very good. I also always freeze it after I finish working on it so that the track is 100% stable. It that moves the noise around when you hold a note on one of the preset and its very good.
3. 🛸APC🛸

Straight out the box the sound is very good. It always enhances my tracks because the high notes cut through the mix nice and clear. This also sounds good with the flanger and a lot of other modulators. There are good settings on the instrument and its top quality.
2. 🛬Whistler | Extra Instruments🛬

That’d be another good instrument for a hip hop track. It has a great setting out of the box. I like to put fuel on this to level out the sound. It has a synth pad preset and also sound like the wings of a plane in flight.
1. ✨Book of Sounds✨

Thats a great library with Kontakt. It has an amazing selection of samples and we always find a sample that sounds great on the project. So we’ll need to load the Kontakt vst onto the project and I like to rename the track to ‘Book’.
